UCF Women's Rowing Team
2019 - 2023
As both a rower and a coxswain on the UCF Women's Rowing Team, I was able to learn how to balance my school life with athletics. Teamwork and time management were two of the many skills I acquired in my four years of training at the Division 1 level.
Student-Athlete Advisory Committee
2020 - 2023
Athletes in SAAC are the voice of the NCAA to the student body. We help plan and participate in multiple community service events such as Knight of Giving with Engelwood Elementary School, #LunchBag for homeless individuals in Orlando, Trunk or Treat with the Boys and Girls Club, and packaging/distributing Valentine's day treats to healthcare workers at Orlando Health.
Health Information Project
2017 - 2019
Through HIP as a high school upperclassman, I was able to teach incoming freshmen about crucial health topics once a month during their physical education class. These topics included but were not limited to exercise, nutrition, sexual education, and drug use. This allowed me to further broaden my knowledge of the importance of spreading awareness.

As a part of ARSA, I am able to communicate and spend time with other students who have the same background as I do. It is important to me to be able to share experiences and make new ones with others who have my same roots.
